COVID-19 Response

Dear Valued Patient, The health and safety of the patients and staff of Dr. Salma Aziz are of primary importance. Like the rest of the world, we continue to monitor the COVID-19 developments. Following guidelines set forth from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO), we are confident in the precautionary measures and response plans we have established. At this time, our clinics are operating as normal. We have reviewed our clinic continuity plans and do not anticipate any scenario that would impair our ability to treat our patients. While we do not believe panic is in any way warranted, we do wish to practice community-conscious medicine and protect each other and our patients from this virus (as well as flu or any other communicable infectious disease). We are asking all patients that are feeling ill (fever, cough, etc) to stay home. We will gladly reschedule your appointment for you when you are feeling better. Also, we are asking the same of our employees, so that you feel as safe as possible when you come to our office. Here are some helpful tips to stay healthy during this outbreak and cold/flu season:
  • Avoid touching your face, particularly your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Wash your hands often and thoroughly.
  • Cover your coughs and sneezes.
  • If possible, avoid crowded places where the infection is more likely to spread
We understand that even in uncertain times, you need access to medical care. We are administering hospital-grade sanitation in our office, mainly in our waiting area and other common and high touch areas. We know that injuries happen, pain continues and medical conditions do not disappear even in these times. As such, we are here to care for your foot and ankle needs at a lower risk, lower wait, sanitized environment. We are diligently following professional guidelines for patient care and assure you the best medical care. Here’s what we are doing to ensure you have peace of mind during your visit:
  • Modifications to our waiting room to minimize exposure to other patients
  • Regular hospital-grade cleaning procedures throughout the day
  • Social distancing between patients and staff
Please call us to make an appointment, we are here to help! Take care of yourselves and each other.
